My name is Jennifer Mayer.  I graduated from The University of South Dakota with a degree in elementary education with a kindergarten endorsement.  In 2009, I completed my masters degree from Southwest Minnesota State with a Master of Science degree with an emphasis on teaching, learning, and leadership .  This is my sixth year teaching at Longfellow and I LOVE it.  Longfellow holds a special place in my heart partly because this is where I attended grade school.

I grew up here in Mitchell.  My husband, Paul, works for Muth Electric.  We have a adventurous two year old, Kyler, who is always keeping me on my toes.  We are also the proud owner of an English Springer Spaniel, Rigley who seems to be very interested in everything we are doing at every moment.  I have four siblings who are scattered in three different states.

When I am not at school I love spending time with my friends and family.  I also enjoy scrapbooking and playing softball and volleyball.
